Hi, I’m Kristene Dimarco with Bethel Music, thank you for watching God Today.I actually get a lot of questions about how do you maintain humility and keep a humble heart when people are watching you? And it used to feel so very complicated to me, like this is the most complicated thing on earth but I’ve come to realize that it’s about accepting feedback and always being teachable.
One of my teachers, back in the day, told me that you have to be flexible, available and teachable for God to use you and as long as I am open to feedback from the leadership around me and also from my peers, then I know that my heart is in the right place. And obviously, the Holy Spirit helps with that too. I believe the Holy Spirit really uses people in this arena more than any and I am very thankful for the people He has placed around me. So make sure you surround yourself with people and community, people who will tell you like it is because you are going to need it because we are all called to be leaders, we are all called to be significant to the moves that God is doing.
So let’s just pray. God, we just ask You that you would surround each one of us with incredible leadership and incredible feedback, God. We just commit our hearts to always remain soft and teachable and that we haven’t arrived, we haven’t arrived God, there is always something new to learn and we thank You for your grace on the subject, God. We know that You will continue to move us. In Jesus Name.
