Hey, this is Kyle Lance Martin with Time To Revive and welcome to God Today. You know, my heart and my passion is for this country. I was born on the 4th of July. As I pray about that, what does that look like? I long to see a move of God. The Lord has graciously placed me in circles where people are praying and interceding on behalf of our country for revival. But, what’s happened is, we have stayed in this place of prayer.
This 2 Chronicles 7:14 it’s an incredible passage, now listen to this, it says, “Now my people who are called by my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways. Then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land”. Now, I love that passage, but the reality is, that’s part of it. Part of it is, yes, pray for a move of God, but Jesus says, in Matthew 28, look he says the Great Commision. And He says, Folks, I’m telling you the answer for revival, pray for it, but now we have to pursue it. He says this, in Matthew 28, He says in verse 19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”. And then He says, “Teaching them to observe everything that I’ve commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age”. So, what I hear is we can pray for a move of God, but He’s already given us the answer for a revival – it’s “pursue it”.
So, if you want to know, “God, who can you use to see revival? ” The answer is you. The answer is me. We need to pursue this revival – and here it is – by actually going out and sharing the Gospel, making disciples, teaching, and baptizing people. America is ready for a move of God, and I believe the church is the answer when we pray for it, but not just pray – pursue it.
So, Father, I’m asking right now, in the name of Jesus, that you would raise up intercessors, and ambassadors and laborers to go into the harvest because we are ready for a move of God. And may we declare the Gospel in this country. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
