Grace, Hope, and Love

Transcript

This is  KC Craichy, founder and CEO of Living Fuel, and minister of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’ve been an entrepreneur for many years and there are secrets to success that are found right in the Bible.  In fact, I realized, in retrospect, that I was practicing these secrets, in some ways, before I even knew the Lord.

I wanted to talk to you today about 1 Corinthians 13, it’s called the “love chapter”.  It says, “Now comes grace, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love”.  Interestingly, the chapter goes on to define love (love is patient, love is kind) it’s a very detailed chapter on the love, the “God” kind of love.  So, we all know about love.  Jesus says that the greatest commandment of all is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.

So, love is there and we have a general understanding of that.  What we don’t understand, sometimes, is that the Bible says that faith operates by love.  We hear a lot about faith.  “The faith of a mustard seed can move a mountain”.  And that’s what you need for business, is faith.  Yes, you need faith when it operates by love.  But, the missing ingredient is that word in the middle that you don’t hear a lot about, “hope”.  Because hope has become “hope so, maybe so”.  It isn’t a “hope so, maybe so”.  Hope is a rock solid assurance.  That word, “hope”, acts as the same word in the Bible that means “imagination”, except for it’s positive.  So, it’s “positive imaginations”.  In other words, it’s a vision.  The Bible says “without a vision the people perish”.  So, when you think about vision and how important it is and how the whole picture works because vision.  Hope is how faith works also because you have to see the future, see something positive, believe something positive in the future so that you can attach your faith to it and step into it.

It is a powerful, spiritual principle.  The Lord even says, “Call upon me and I will answer and show you great and mighty things you do not know”.  In other words, He’ll give you a vision of things you do not know.  So, if you don’t know your vision, you don’t know your purpose, seek the Lord and he’ll give you a vision and then you can attach your faith to the vision and step into it.  And I’m telling you, right now, as I’m standing here as a successful entrepreneur, without that secret, I’m not sure I’d be sitting here.  And I’m telling you, it is a powerful, powerful principle.  It is a law.  God bless you, I hope you use it.  Have a great day.
