Drawing close to Him is the key.  He wants to walk through this with you.

TRANSCRIPTION

Hi, I’m Jeri Hill, with Together In the Harvest, welcome to God Today.  Right now I want to share with you a scripture that means a lot to me.  It is Psalm 23 verse 4, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil.  For you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me”.

I don’t know about you, I don’t know what you’ve been through and what you’re experiencing in life today, but I do know that things that I have been through in the past.  I do know I’ve lost a husband, I’ve lost a son, and God was with me through all of that.  And when I felt like I was, you know, thrown to the ground and everything was falling apart, God picked me back up, and He gave me the strength to go through, He comforted my heart, He gave me peace.  And I can tell you, whatever it is you’re going through, if you’re going through a time of loss, or if you’re going through all of the battles in life, and all the struggles in life, or if you’re having battles with your kids, that He will be with you.  Drawing close to Him is the key.  He wants to walk through this with you, He wants to be your very best friend.  He wants to be the one that you lean on and trust in.  Nobody else can meet your need like the Father.  His heart is for you and He knows cares about what you’re going through.  And the things I went through, He was there for me.  And the things you’re going through, He wants to be there for you.  He wants to be the comforter of your heart.

And Father, right now, I lift each person up that is listening right now, that you would pour out your spirit on their lives, that you would touch them, and may the Comforter enter their room, and flow through them that they know that they are not alone in this situation.  In your name, Jesus, I pray, Amen.
