He has not left us here alone.  We can actually physically see a reflection of the Creator through the creation.

Hi, I’m Kristene DiMarco with Bethel Music and thank you for watching God Today. My favorite scripture verse is actually Romans 1:20 where it says, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power, and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made.”

And I love this scripture verse because that has a lot to do with, actually, my whole story of salvation.  Starting to see God in everything that He had made.  That a tree, actually, wasn’t as common as I thought it was.  Or even, my hands and my feet are beautiful and they’re created by God.  It seems like such a small thing, it seems like such an ordinary thing, but often times the most ordinary things and the most ordinary happenings are absolutely extraordinary when you think about them long enough.  And the fact that I am on a planet that is floating in outer space and I serve a God who is so mighty and so vast, but He cares so deeply about me.  I just love thinking about the fact that He not only created the whole world and created everything about the world, but He came to the world that He created and He died for what He created.

His invisible attributes and His eternal qualities are all around us to be seen at any moment of the day.  He has not left us here alone.  We can actually physically see a reflection of the Creator through the creation. And let’s pray.  God, I just ask that you open our eyes to see you in an even greater measure through what you have created.  I ask the beauty of who you are would shine through in our ordinary days.  I thank you so much for this life that has been given to us.  And I pray that you would speak to us in our ordinary and speak to us in, sometimes, what we feel is mundane.  Don’t let us miss a thing, Jesus. Amen.
