The more faith you get the more things you see. The more answers to prayer manifest in your life.

Welcome to God Today.  I’m Dr. Nasir Siddiki of “WisdomMinistries.org”.  Got a word to share with you today about faith. What is faith?  Is faith important? Is faith just a religion somebody has or is there specific teaching of faith in the Bible?

Come with me to Hebrews 11.  You know this scripture well.  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.”  The word “Faith” is the greek word “pistis” – firmly persuaded, firmly convinced. Alright.  What I’m firmly convinced of, what I’m firmly persuaded of faith is the substance. Whatever I’m convinced of is the substance of things.  Wow. Did you know your faith gives things substance? What is the commodity on heaven? To negotiate in heaven the commodity is not money. No no no no no.  It’s faith. Your faith determines what God will do for you. Not the amount of money you have, or the car you drive, or the house you live in. It’s your faith.  Faith is so important.

The Bible says that without faith you can not please God.  The Bible says that anything isn’t faith is sin. The Bible says we need to walk in faith, live in faith, have our being in faith.  It’s an important subject isn’t it? Faith is the substance of things. I need a better car – faith is that substance. I need a better house – faith is that substance.  I need another job – faith is that substance. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The more word you get, the more word you hear – the more faith you get.

The Bible says, “Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for”.  That means you haven’t got them yet. But, faith is going to cause them to go.  Faith is like the bridge from the spirit realm to the natural realm. It brings things that you’re hoping for.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for – and watch this now – the evidence of things not seen. Now every courtroom in the world makes a decision, a judgment based on evidence.  So if there is no evidence they can’t make a judgment. What is the evidence that decides, “I’m going to get another car. I’m going to get a better house. My family is going to come back together.  God’s going to restore my marriage.” What is the evidence that is going to happen? The answer is: faith. Faith, faith, faith, faith, faith.

Faith is really important to God because without it you cannot please Him.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.  What you cannot see yet, you will see if you apply the law of faith. Can I say that one more time?  What you cannot see you will see if you apply the law of faith. How do I get more faith, brother Nassir?  That’s simple. More word = more faith. The more word you hear, (faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God) the more faith you get.  The more faith you get the more things you see. The more answers to prayer manifest in your life.

Let’s pray.  Thank you, Lord, that you give us revelation of this walk of faith.  How we can please you by faith. We know that we have to go after faith, not things.  When we go after faith, things will come after us. Lord, reveal to every person how to go after the word of God.  How to listen to the word more than they ever have before. Because by hearing the word and hearing the word their faith will be developed.  Lord, we thank you for this revelation. Bring it to our remembrance everywhere we go. So we will constantly be growing, listening, expanding our faith by hearing the word of God.  We ask this is Jesus’ name. Amen.
