Welcome to God Today. My name is John Garfield with “releasingkings.com”. I want to talk to you for two minutes about being chosen. How many of you remember choosing sides for games as a child? If you were picked first it really felt good. But, if you were the last one picked, or you weren’t picked at all – it’s painful. I want to suggest that God has chosen you and chosen me. Listen to John 15:16, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit. Fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” The Father has chosen you. You might be living your life wondering why you haven’t been chosen by other men or other women. You may feel that as though other people or even God has left you out. I want to suggest that God has chosen you.
Here’s the key to being chosen. In the Kingdom we have to volunteer. We have to understand from a foundation that God has chosen us and that’s what allows us to volunteer and the minute we do, that’s when relationships with God and people begin to flow out of that volunteering, out of that initiative, out of the sense of knowing that our Father has chosen us, therefore we can do great things and be a part of a community of believers. Be part of the Kingdom of God. So, Father, in the name of Jesus, everyone watching this right now you have chosen. I am just inviting all of us whom you have already chosen to become part of your Kingdom and to operate out of that chosenness. We thank you, Lord, that you saw us first and you called us and you have chosen us. In the name of Jesus, we rejoice in that truth. Amen. You are chosen.
