Hi, I am Pastor Randy Needham, of Dwelling Place Church in Houston, Texas. Welcome to God Today. Today I want to talk to you about seeking – about seeking first the Kingdom. This is such a live verse. This is such wisdom about how to bring the – often – chaos of life into simplicity, and how to have divine order. You know, nothing really works well when it is out of order. Jesus said, “Seek first the Kingdom.” That means the King and His dominion. Live for this King, love this King, go after this King, and seek wherever you go. You are called, you don’t just have a job – you are called. Everyday you are in the Kingdom. It is not just church once a week – every day, 24/7, you are in the Kingdom of God right now. You have a calling. He is sending you places. You can serve the King wherever you are – you don’t need to have a pulpit so serve the King. You’re alive right now – you can serve this King and His Kingdom and see an advance.
The beauty and reward of this is that so many people are running after things, and they are running after stuff, and they are stressing out. We don’t have to live that way, we get to serve the Kingdom and this King and be in love with Him. You know what He said? “Everything, everybody is running after, you don’t even have to worry about that because I will bring it into your life, I will minister it to you.” If you’ll put Him first, go after His Kingdom, fall in love with Him, and live for the advancement of His Kingdom, you don’t have to worry. He is going to provide everything you need.
I am going to pray for you right now. Father, put a love for the Kingdom in our hearts. Father, I pray you bring simplicity and peace into people’s’ hearts today. Father, I pray you show them where they are called and they can seek you with all their hearts. In Jesus’ name.
