Hi, I’m Jeffrey Levinson with God TV. Welcome to God Today. Today I want to talk a little bit about testimony. Your testimony, my testimony, the testimony of Jesus. In Psalm 36:9, a Psalm of David, it says, “For with thee is a fountain of life. In thy light they see light.” What is your testimony? Daniel 12:3 says, “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky. And who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” Wisdom first comes from fear of the Lord. If you accept Jesus into your heart, then you have quoted the wisdom of Proverbs and you have quoted His righteousness. What was the Lord’s testimony? How did He shine? Well, the Lord, when He walked on this earth as a man, testified of His father in Heaven. God’s light shined on Him and through Him. You could see it in His eyes.
Many came to follow Jesus because of the light that was on Him. Because of the light they perceived that was from God. That was His testimony. Through Him we get a testimony. What’s your testimony? How do you use your testimony? How do people see your testimony? When do people see the light? Is it in your work? Is it in your family relationships? Is it in your play? If you have accepted Jesus in your heart, then basically, you should have a light on you. People should see that.
When I was lost, I was looking for something, I didn’t know what it was. I met someone. I didn’t know at the time, I sad, “I don’t know what you have, but I want what’s in your eyes.” We both remember that day. That friend has become my wife. Basically, we just serve the Lord. Not just in church, we serve that many may come to know Him. We do it in “thy light so they see light”. We revel in the light of the Lord. We speak about the Lord in every chance we get. We don’t close any doors, we keep doors open. My prayer for you is let the light of the Lord shine on you, and in you, and through you. Many may see it and come to know Him. I am Jeffrey Levinson.
