Sometimes love looks strong. Sometimes love looks soft, but all the time love should look authentic

Hello, there. My name is Patricia King. I get to impart to you Revelation on the love of God. It is a subject that I live for and I love. It is my honor to impart it to you. I want to look at a scripture out of 1 John 4:7 (starting with verse 7), it says, “Beloved, let us love one another. For love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God. For God is love. By this, the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love. Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we are also to love one another.”

We know that Jesus taught that there are two commandments, really, only two that we need to walk in. If we do that all the law and all the prophets are fulfilled. It is in love. First of all, to love God with all of our heart, minds, strength and everything within us. Then to love our neighbors as ourselves – to love others. So often Jesus said that, “They will know that you are my disciples by the love you have for one another.” Unfortunately, we are not known for our love yet. But, we are on our way.

God’s love is so perfect and so beautiful. When you are walking in the love of God, you will live in the truth. You are not going to live lies, you are not going to live in sin, you are not even going to tolerate sin because you love people too much for that. In the society that we live in right now, we need to demonstrate love, not out of angry protests and things like that, when people are oding things contrary to the word of God, but to speak the truth in love. Because that conduct is going to hurt them, if we really love them, we will speak the truth. It is not a time for our voices to be silent concerning some of the issues we are facing today. There are immoral issues, there are spiritual confusion issues that need to be spoken to and spoken into. We need to do that in love.

What does love look like? It says, “We need to love one another.” Not only amongst ourselves and the church, but God so loved the world. We have to love the world too. What does that look like? It says that love is from God and everyone that loves is born of God. The world should be able to look at us and say, “Wow. They are born of God.” We need to be known for our love. He said, “if we don’t love, we don’t know God.” God is love. He actually is love. By this, the love of God is manifested in us that He sent His only son.” Why? “So that not only would His son take care of our sin issues and restore us into right alignment with God, but so that we might live through Him.” In other words, He is doing everything. He is the lover of our soul. We can just climb up in Him and walk with Him throughout our days and touch those around us with His love.

His supernatural power of love – it can transform the whole world. It transformed you, it transformed me, it can transform the atmosphere that we live in. If we believe. It says, “In this is love. Not that we love God, but that He loved us. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” So, let’s ponder that today. Let’s ponder the love of God and let’s say, God, today even as you said we are going to love each other, I am going to ask you what love looks like. Love isn’t all the time, it’s not always soft. Sometimes we have to speak, maybe a strong word that would save someone from disaster.

You know, I remember when my little boy, one time, he was just over two years old, he ran out on the street. I screamed at the top of my lungs, “Chad!!!!” You know, I was so loud. I said, “Get out of the road!” It wasn’t because I was angry at him, it wasn’t because I was mad. It wa because I was in love. I couldn’t bear the thought of him getting hurt. I ran after him, I grabbed, and I pulled him off of that road. There were cars coming, he would have been killed. The love inside of me persisted just to see him safe. Sometimes love looks strong. Sometimes love looks soft, but all the time love should look authentic. Meditate on that today. Allow the love of God to touch the world that you live in.

Let’s pray. Father, I pray for my friends today, that they will be so filled with love that they would, today, be released to manifest your love wherever they go and whoever they meet. Whether they are in the shopping center, or the workplace, or in school, or at home in their neighborhoods. Whoever they come in contact with, they will manifest the love of God. Lord, if they even see people on the news, or going through different things, they wouldn’t judge, but they would love. They would speak forth the truth that would set them free because they are in love.I thank you Lord, that you are bathing us afresh in your love and baptizing us afresh in your love so that we can love you perfectly and love those in the world around us. Thank you, Father. God bless you, go and find someone to love today.
