A New Revelation

Hello, I’m Rick Joyner, welcome to God Today sponsored by GOD TV. A little few minutes where we focus on, “What is God doing today?” You know, I’ve been doing a study for over a year, where I’m doing our word for the week on the book of Revelation. I get asked a lot of questions, more and more attention is being given to the book of Revelation. There are two keys that are required for understanding that book. You almost never hear anybody talking about it. The first one is, to understand that the book of Revelation, it is not a revelation for the future, it’s not a revelation of the antichrist, those are ingredients in it. The main thing the book of Revelation was given, Jesus said right up front, it’s a revelation of Jesus Christ. If we don’t understand He is the main subject there. We read the book of Revelation seeking to know Him, to understand Him, to draw closer to Him, to be more closely aligned with His purposes. Not just in the future, in the times, but every day. His name is not “I was” or “I will be”. His name is “I Am”. We have to know Him today.

The second main thing, He said that He was given that revelation to give to His bondservants. I think a good case could be made that very few Christians are true bondservants of the Lord. They may have been saved, they may have been baptized in the Spirit, and occasionally do things for Him. But, they don’t live the life of a bondservant. A bondservant life is defined in scripture. A bondservant has a whole different mentality. A bondservant doesn’t wake up one day and say, “Oh! Beautiful day, I wonder what I am going to do today.” A bondservant wakes up and says, “Master, thank you for this beautiful day, but what would you have me to do?” The bond servant’s whole focus is on serving the Lord. Bondservant doesn’t get a lot of money in and just think, “I get to buy that new boat I wanted, or car, or whatever.” A bondservant says, “Master, what do you want me to do with your money?” Everything they have, even their own time, belongs to their master. This is the call that is going out, and these are the ones that the Lord is marking. It talks about He puts His own mark on. That’s the key to not taking the mark of the beast. It is to take the Lord’s mark and to live that life of a bondservant which we have to have that revelation was given to Him to give to His bondservants. We have to have the whole mentality of a bondservant to understand that, and I believe much else that is in His word.
