You worship Him just as much in the promised Land as you did in the wilderness.

Hello, my friends. I am Pastor Troy Brewer from Open Door Church in Burleson, TX. Welcome to god Today. Today I want to talk to you about being a little bit different and being a little bit radical. I want to do something because it is so easy to get caught up in the rat race. That is real for all of us. Wherever you are, I encourage you to take just a moment to consider how you and I can stop what we are doing and worship Him right now.

I like coming before the Lord and saying things like, “Jesus, I want to be alone with you today. God, you are my life. There is no life that i have that is apart from you. I am in desperate need of you right now.” I like to proclaim my desperation for the Lord. Amen. I like telling the Lord, “God, I like how supernatural, how unlimited you are. I love how you speak to me, how you command me, how you encourage me, how you feed me, how you provide for me, how you walk with me.”

I also like to tell the Lord, “God, I realize that I am not a self-made person. I recognize, God, that all that I have comes from you. All the I have comes through you. I have to have you.” I love to say things like, “I don’t want to give me heart to anybody else. I belong to you, and you belong to me. I know that it is you that has saved me and loved me.”

Then I like to remind God that i know that He brought me out of the wilderness. He could have left me in places that should have killed me, but here I am. I also like to tell the Lord that I will not forget the abundance of the life that I get to live in. God, I get to live such a cool life. I love my life! Thank you, God, for bringing me into such a blessed place.

I like to say things like, “Lord, I am yours and you are mine. Amen. God, you are so true. God, you have kept all your promises.” Those kind of things. If we said those kinds of words everyday and if we meant those word every moment, our lives would be transformed. Do you love Jesus as much in good times as you do in bad times? Do you talk to him and depend upon Him as much and plenty as you do and want? The bible says, “I will extol the Lord at all times. His praises will always be on my lips. I will glorify the Lord. Let the afflicted hear and rejoice,” Psalm 34.

Friends, today is a good day to know that Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday, and forever. You can trust Him as much in your need as you can in plenty. You worship Him just as much in the promised Land as you did in the wilderness.

I want to pray for you. Father, I pray, God, in the might name of King Jesus, God, that you would do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think. I pray, God, that a spirit of revival would live with us, God, and we would walk and live under an open window of Heaven. We seek you today and w thank you for it. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. Alright, my friend. Thank you so much for joining me today. I am Pastor Troy Brewer. I call you the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, and highly favored of the Lord.
