Hi, I’m Joe Manno, pastor of Orlando Family Church in Orlando, FLorida. Welcome to God Today. Speaking of pastor. Well, let me show you how I see you. I see you this way, and if I see you this way, a sinner, how much more does God see you this way? I look at our church. I look from the pulpit, all the people sitting out in the crowd, knowing they are coming with problems, and challenges, and hurts, and cares. O, my God, I just want to give them everything, Lord. I want to give these people everything. I want you to walk out of here blessed. Today you are my church. I am going to show you how I love leading our church.
Imagine if I can metaphorically do this. Get off the platform, walk to the back of the church. I am the pastor. The pastor is not this big superstar. I make sure you don’t leave the gate, and you don’t run out. I get to the back of the church. Instead of standing on the pulpit and saying, “Hey! Everybody follow me!” I love to go to the back of the church. This is how I preach, I think this while I am preaching. “Go to the back of the church and say, “He is that way. Follow God.” I will stand in the back and make sure nobody leaves and escapes. I am going to wrangle, so if somebody does, I am going to walk over, put my hand on him and say, “I don’t know what is going on in your life, but the plan that God has for you is bigger than the torment the devil has for you right now. Get back in line and keep going that way.”
That’s how I see you. I see you following Jesus and I see Him following you to the place you want to be that you don’t even know you want to be. Go. Put your eyes on Him. Take your eyes off man. Don’t take it out on God because man has failed you. Keep following Jesus. You are going to get to what He chose for you to be. I love you guys. God bless you.
