Hello, I’m Richard Summerlin, New Way Church in Palm Coast, Florida. Welcome to God Today. I want to take a few moments with you to talk about quitting. I know that isn’t a really fun word to say. But, it is is something we need to deal with especially in the body of Christ. We are not quitters. I want to thank you. A lot of you have been up against a wall. You have made a choice not to quit and I want to say, “Thank you” for that. Thank you for not quitting on God and His word. Thank you for not quitting on the Holy Spirit. There are other things in our life, assignments, that God has given us.
In the scripture in Philippians 4:13 tells us, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” You might want to say that out loud, you might want to hear yourself prophesy that over your own life. Say it with me, “I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength.” I don’t know. Maybe you are a single mother. Maybe you are going through a business deal. Maybe times feel like, “It is time to shut this thing down.” No, no , no, no. Hold on. Let’s get back. Is God in this thing? Has He called you to this? If He has then you need to get on the scripture. “I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength.” Come on, don’t let the devil run you off. He is a liar and a deceiver. He is a master liar and a master deceiver. He wants to get you to quit. Not only on life, but especially on God. God things. That’s not you. Say it, “That’s not me. I am not a quitter. I can do this in Jesus’ mighty name. I can do all things through Christ that give me strength.”
Let me believe with you in prayer. Heavenly Father, I believe whatever they are up against, whatever they face, they can do it. They are going to get through this thing and they will not quit in Jesus’ name. I speak over you, I prophesy over you that there is no quit in you. You will succeed and you will get it done. In the mighty name of Jesus. God bless you.
