Greetings, Beloved. I am Dr. Mark Chironna and welcome to God Today. In Psalm 34 verse 4, the psalmist says, “I taught the Lord and he answered me, and he delivered from all my fears. Sometimes we begin the day with fears, anxiety; worry. And it’s based on what we’ve carried over from the day before that wasn’t resolved; the unfinished business; the things that we can’t bring to closure. First I want you to understand that God is there. He is not silent. He hears you, and when you bring it to speech, He will answer you. Prayer brings everything to speech. Some of you may believe, “Well if I confess my fears, I’m giving them power.” Nothing could be farther from the truth.
If you confess your fears to a loving father, He will cleanse your heart from the tendency to allow them to override your ability to function. And you need to understand that fear is a very human emotion. And all of us, there are four basic emotions and fear is one of them. Oftentimes, fear is a gift when it comes to being protected from something that is dangerous. But all too many times, the enemy will over-exaggerate fears that are irrational to get us distracted from fulfilling what God’s goodwill is to our lives. You need to learn how to bring those things to speech. In the presence of the God of truth. Who will not only hear you but in the act of bringing it to speech, He will help dissipate the power of those emotions from ruling over you so that you can come back to a semblance of peace and well-being.
Today, bring to speech the things that might be hindering you because of fear and worry. And trust that the One who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, will not only hear you when you bring it to speech, he will answer you and set you free and deliver you from all the effects and the issues that are tied to those fear. Yes, He’s that good. Father may it be unto them, according unto your word, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.
