You have Christ living in you, living with you, living around you, guiding you and directing your life, every part of your life.

Good morning and welcome to God Today all the way from Jerusalem in Israel.  My name is Terry King. I come from the United States, I actually live quite close to Washington DC, in a small town called Hagerstown.  From there I have traveled around the world. I am a part of a ministry team called Alliance International Ministries.

I have been meditating on several scriptures the last couple of days.  One inspires me and I hope it will be inspiring to you as you start a new day.  It is in Galatians 2:20, the Bible says, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live.  Yet, not I, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who gave Himself for me.” Let’s look at that for just a moment.  The verse starts by saying, “I am crucified with Christ.” That is the way we have to start. We start by giving up our lives, giving in our lives, surrendering our lives to Christ and His work on the cross. “I am crucified with Christ.”

It may feel like, in the last couple days, you have been dying.  Dying on the inside. There are many scriptures. I am thinking of 2 Corinthians 4 where Paul talks about how He dies daily.  The struggles of life, and the pain they produce. I don’t know what is gong in your life right now. Maybe this is a very painful moment for you?  I want to encourage you that Christ is still working, even in the pain. Even in the difficulty. Even in the dying that is taking place inside if you, Christ is working.

Let’s move on to the next part because it does get better.  “I am crucified with Christ.” This speaks as well, most importantly of the fact that He died for you and that means He can come and live in you.  “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live.” Yet, not I, but Christ lives in me”. His crucifixion, His self-sacrifice on our behalf, to forgive our own sins, gives us the wonderful joy of coming to the cross, and receiving the freedom of the life, a new life that comes from Him living within us.

That is an amazing mystery.  I can’t even imagine even at this very moment as a Christ follower, a follower of Yeshua, you have Christ living in you, living with you, living around you, guiding you and directing your life, every part of your life.  That goes on to the very last part that says, “The life that I will live by the faith of the Son of God who gave Himself for me.” It is not my faith I have to depend upon. I am so thankful I don’t have to live by my own strength, my own abilities, but Christ’s life flowing through me, the life of Yeshua flowing through me.  It is His faith that makes my life strong. I bless you as you start a new day. God bless you from God TV, may you live in the fullness of Christ who lives within you, even right now. God bless you. Amen.
