Welcome to God Today. I am Dr. Nasir Siddiki of “wisdomministries.org”. You have seen me many times on God TV, teaching he Word of God. I have a word for you today on the Spirit of excellence. I am going to take you to Colossians 1:9. It says, “For this reason we also from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray that you will be filled with the full knowledge of God’s will and,” it says in verse 10, “that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, and be fruitful in every good work. I want to talk to you a little bit about doing it as unto the Lord.
When you got born-again, Spirit-filled, that Spirit of excellence came into you. It is already in you now. But we don’t always flow in the Spirit of excellence. You know what? The world should know us by the fact that we flow in excellence. The opposite of excellence is mediocre, that is halfway up the mountain. God is not mediocre. When God does things, He does things right. At the Wisdom Center we have saying, “If you are going to do it, do it right.” Do it with the Spirit of excellence.
I started to teach on this and kids go ahold of it. They started doing better at school. People got ahold of it and they started doing their job as unto the Lord, not as unto the paycheck. Guess what? They were the first to get promoted, they were the first to get pay raises, they were the last to get laid off. The Spirit of excellence – it is in you. If you are going to do it, do it as unto the Lord. When you do it unto the Lord to the best of your ability, if Jesus was standing right next to you, how would you do that? You wouldn’t be sloppy. You wouldn’t be mediocre. You would do it to the best of your ability. I teach on the Spirit of excellence. When people flow in the Spirit of excellence, things work out. The more you flow in excellence, the more of God’s glory will be revealed in what you’re doing. Do you want to reveal Jesus everywhere you go? Start doing it with the Spirit of excellence.
Let me pray for you. I thank you, Lord, they have the Spirit of excellence. Show them now, Holy Spirit, how to flow and do everything that they can do and do in excellence. In excellence. As unto you, Lord, as if you were standing right there as they flow in the Spirit of excellence, I know promotion and advancement will follow them all the days of their lives. We ask this now in Jesus’ name we pray. And everybody said, “Amen”.
