Come back and deem God greater than the problem you are facing.

TRANSCRIPTION

Hi, I’m Pastor Craig Walker.  I am the lead pastor of Upward Church and Christian author.  I pray you are blessed, protected, living in the grace of God.  I pray this is a fantastic day for you. You will be full of the joy of the Lord.

Everyday we need a word from Heaven.  The Scriptures are life to us, they are the living Word of God.  Can we go to the Scriptures today and get the energy and the power of God in our lives, working to face this day?  I want us to go to Romans 4:19. I want to look at an interesting Scripture. It says, “And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead and so was Sarah’s womb.”  I love this Scripture because true faith in God is not an ostrich faith. It is not a faith that can’t admit there is a problem. Abraham considered his body now dead. He knew he was 100 years old. He knew Sarah was an old woman.  Yet, his faith deemed God greater than the problem.

See a faith in a faith, not faith in God.  A faith in a faith is, “Oh, I can’t admit I am sick.  I can’t admit I have a financial problem. It will hurt my faith.”  That is faith in your faith. But, true faith in God that we see in the Word of God is when Nehemiah comes in and knows the wall is broken down.  In fact, he came out at night and looked over the wall before he even started the restoration process. Abraham considered his body now dead. Yet, with the promises of God, he considered Him faithful.

Are you facing a mountain today?  Listen, you don’t have to feel bad because you acknowledge there is a mountain in your life.  There is a financial need. There Is sickness in your life. Come back to the Problem Solver. Come back and deem God greater than the problem you are facing.  Some of you have been in this battle a long time. I want to pray especially for you today. Let’s pray. Father, I pray for those facing this mountain for a long time.  They have been believing you for a long time. I especially want to pray for them today, God. I pray they will not give up hope. Like Abraham, they will be able to acknowledge the problem, but at the end of the day still be able to say, “God is able to deliver on all He has promised to me.  He has promised to give me life – an abundant life.” Bless them today, God. Give them their answer quickly, Father. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. I am Pastor Craig, that us God Today.
