Hi, there.  I am Dr. Bill Hamon, Bishop of Christian International Apostolic Network with 4,000 churches around the world and 1,000 in the United States.  I am here today on God Today and I want you to know God is moving in a mighty way. I was talking about it with about 1,000 ministers the other day, in another nation.  I said, “I want to talk to you today about the highest calling in the Universe, in the Body of Christ. Is it not the apostle over 1,000 churches, it is not the prophet prophesying over 1,000s of peoples, it is not the evangelists reaching millions, it is not the pastor of 100s of thousands or the teachers that have written 50 books and taught all over the world.”  I said, “If you get anything between the highest calling you are going to get discouraged and disillusioned. If you don’t understand God’s highest calling for every Christian, for every individual, you are going to get very discouraged.”

Romans 8:29 is the highest calling. “For whom God did foreknow He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His son.”  That is God’s highest calling for each and everyone of us is to be conformed in the image of Jesus Christ. If you made the thumb your inner internal man that God is working on, and these are your family, social, business, everything.  God will allow any one of these to go through a Job experience to perfect this one. It says, “Jesus learned obedience by the things which He suffered. Being made perfect, He became the manifest Son of God.” I wanted to let you know that Romans 8:28 comes right before Romans 8:29, which says, “All things work together for your good because you love God and you’re called according to His purpose.”  Verse 29 says, “His purpose is to conform us to the image of Jesus Christ.

Some of you have been going through some rough times – you’ve hit some real tests.  You say, what have I done? How did I fail God? Nothing is wrong. God is bringing you forth and maturing you, transforming you, and killing the old self life.  I have gone through 4 major tests in my life, in my 64 years of ministry. I have zeroed out 3 times. But, I am coming forth victorious today because I dedicated my life to be like Jesus Christ.

People ask me, “How in the world have you pioneered all these years?  Being out there in the prophetic, apostolic. I said, “I have kept the eternal view that God is trying to conform me, most of all, to his image of Jesus Christ.  He made man in the beginning, to fill the Earth with a race in God’s image and likeness. Jesus is still trying to do that today. I have dedicated the rest of my life.  Let me tell you, I feel several of you are out there right now, wandering. You’re a little discouraged because you don’t understand why you’re going through what you’re going through.  Let me tell you. If you love God, and you know you’re called to conform to His image, it’s got to work together for your good. I want to encourage you – renew yourself. I have zeroed out three times in my life, in those days.   Have gone through horrible tests, had to forgive a lot of people, but that’s just the making of it. When you know all things are working in it for your good, to conform you in the image of Jesus Christ, you can rejoice and give thanks.  God bless you. You are going to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. You are going to hear those words, “Well done, good, Christ-like, and faithful servant. You fulfill your ministry and destiny. Enter into the joy of the Lord.”  That counts more than anything else.
