God sees your tears. He hears your cries. He knows your affliction.

TRANSCRIPTION

Greetings, beloved.  I am Dr. Mark Chironna, welcome to God Today.  The psalmist in Psalm 126:5 says, “Those who sow in tears shall reap with joy.”  I believe that everyday is a good day. But, I have also lived long enough to know that everyday when we wake up, there are still some things that are going on in our lives that haven’t actually transformed in the way God promises.  Often times, we are investing our faith in seasons of struggles, and seasons of grief. Awaiting God’s timing for the breakthroughs and for the release, and for the harvest of righteousness that we have been anticipating.

The psalmist wants us to know that when God turns our captivity, our mourning is turned into dancing.  Our crying is turned into laughter. What we need to keep on doing is sowing seeds of faith, sowing seeds of hope, sowing seeds of confidence, even through our tears.  Remembering this: that tears are as much a prayer as all the shouting we do. God sees your tears. He hears your cries. He knows your affliction. He is coming down in this season, to bring about a harvest of righteousness.

You are going to have a great day today, even if everything doesn’t fully get realized in the next 24 hours.  You are on your way to a breakthrough. You are on your way to a release. YOu are on your way to a harvest. Even if you have to sow in tears, remember this: in a dry season, when there is no rain coming from Heaven, and you are planting that seed of faith in the grounds, your tears are the water that guarantees your harvest is on the way.

Father, seal this word to the hearts of your sons and daughters.  In Jesus’ name.
