Hello, I am Pastor Richard Summerlin of New Way Church in Palm Coast, Florida. Welcome to God Today. I want to take a moment and talk to you about faith today. Faith is a creative force. Let me re-say that. Faith IS THE creative force of God. Faith words have the ability to recreate and to create. In Hebrews 11:3, that Bible tells us how God, with words created the result He desired. I am going to say that again. God with words, God taking word – His creative force – then He with words created the result He desired.
We can also look into Romans 4:17, the power that God has given us. It actually says, “God who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things that be not as though they were.” This is the power, or the creative force of faith that God has given us. Faith is an amazing tool that God has given us, or a principle to learn about Him. Faith comes by hearing. You learn about God and you fill your heart with the truths of God’s word. Then out of your heart you begin to speak with this great, creative force that God has given us, that overwhelms, that overcomes this world, the laws, the parameters that govern this world. Faith is bigger than those things. Faith is the voice of God, allowing us to speak into the atmosphere – the unknown things, the unseen things of God – with great force so that things that are not begin to be.
You can begin to use that in your life. If you need healing, find faith for healing. If you need deliverance, find faith and fill your heart up with God’s scripture with the truth concerning these matters. You boldly begin to declare who God is. Jesus you are my healer. You can begin to say, “My deliverer. I am delivered, I am healed, I am free. I am healthy, wealthy, full of God-life.” As you begin to speak, God gets involved with that word. He backs that word and it comes to pass in your life.
Let me pray for you, and let me believe with you. Lord, I pray right now that this great force of faith would rise up. These creative words would rise up on the inside of every person. We would begin to speak boldly, and clearly the things of God. In Jesus’ name, amen.
