Hi, this is Greg Mohr, with Charis Bible College. Welcome to God Today. I would like to speak to you today about wisdom. Proverbs 4:7 says that “wisdom is a principal thing.”  Would you like to walk in wisdom in every area of your life? Would you like to make decisions filled with wisdom?

Here is a principle God taught me: wisdom and love are sisters. If you discover what love will do, wisdom will be there. You remember the story in 1 Kings about Solomon?  The two women came to him declaring they were the mother of the child, one of them had actually lost their child. Solomon, the way he determined the true mother of the child, he said, “Bring the child to me and let me cut the child in half with a sword.”  He knew – wisdom knew – that the real mother of the child would give up the right for the child because of her love for the child.

If you want to find out what wisdom is in everyday decisions, if you want to find out what wisdom is in your life, you’ll take the time and separate your own interest. Think about the best interests of those you serve. Wisdom will always be there. I want to encourage you today. God has wisdom for you. If you follow love, you will discover that wisdom. You will make great decisions that will bless other people. This is Greg Mohr and this has been God Today.
