Hi, I’m Joe Manno with Orlando Family Church right here in Orlando, Florida and welcome to God Today. I want to talk to you guys about something that’s absolutely amazing. So many times the world gets out there and just attacks you. And you’re in a great mood, you get up in the morning, you’re pumped up to start your day and somebody just says something to you and just spirals you down and it just continues. Then you call somebody else up and you hurt them, and hurting people hurt people, and that’s just the enemy’s plan. But, that’s not what God has for you.
Psalms 139:14, one of my favorite psalms, he says “Praise the Lord, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. The works of His hands are marvelous and I know that”. David says he knows it full well. See, this is what you gotta get a hold of. You can listen to the whole part of the psalm but it’s the last part that God wants you to know and that’s “I know it”. So, when somebody’s telling you, “You’re not this, you’re not that,” you gotta say, “Wait a minute, whoa whoa whoa. God didn’t make mistakes, God put me on this earth for a reason, there’s no one like me anywhere on the face of this earth. I’m one of a kind and I’m going to make a difference. And it doesn’t make a difference what the whole world thinks about me.”
You see the world is trying to take God’s masterpiece and put you in a garage sale when you belong in the Smithsonian. You can’t let that happen. You gotta realize who you are in God. David says, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”. When did he say that? David said it, He’s getting attacked by Saul. Saul was like his king. His son Absalom was trying to kill him. He’s hiding in caves. And you say, “God are you even here?” How many of you say that out there? How many of you just look at your day and look in the mirror and go, “Are you even here God?” Because we are expecting a McDonald’s God. We are expecting this God to show up when we want, how we want, and when we want. Man, just live your hands and look into the heavens and say, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made, the works of your hands, God, are marvelous. You don’t make mistakes and I know it”. God bless you.
