Hey, this is Pat Schatzline with Remnant Ministries International and welcome to God Today. You know what I’ve learned? God is looking for the altered. What is the altered? Those that understand without an encounter with God, you’re not going to make it. You know I’m reminded of 1 Kings 18. The prophet Elijah walks up, man, it’s been famine in the land for three and a half years, there’s been no rain. He’s fighting against the prophets of Baal and Jezebel. the Bible says he rebuilt the altar. The fire of God came and blew the dust off the altar, and then the rain came.

You know how you stop the famine in your life? Amos said there’s a famine in the land for the Word of the Lord. We’re living in a day and age where we’re in a famine. Where culture has turned truth into the hate speech. Truth has become the hate speech. We’re living in a time where what’s right is now considered wrong by everyone else. We’re living at a time where the enemy of truth is silence. God is looking for those who will stand up and say “enough is enough; I’m gonna make a stand for God.” Maybe you’re going to work today, you’re going to school, or you’re in your own home today and you’re seeing where culture is impacting everything you do and it just doesn’t feel right.

You know what? It’s time to rebuild the altar. If you rebuild the altar, it will stop the famine. “Well, how do I rebuild an altar, Pat?” It’s a lifestyle. Jesus became our altar. Hebrews 10 says so that He became the doorway. Hebrews 13 said He became the altar for you and I. So how do I become the altar? Bottom line. Learn how to simply thought your day say, “God, I want to have an encounter with you. Lord, invade my now. God, step into my moment.

God will end up turning you into a mobile upper room. You’ll be somebody that will be working through the office and you’ll get a prophetic word for someone, or walking through your hallway at school and all of a sudden you’ll be like, man, God’s speaking this to me. It’s time to invade darkness with light. Be the altar. Be the one that will stand up and say, “you know what, I’m only bound to one thing and His name is Jesus.” This is your day to make a stand for God. So if you’re watching this right now, I’m asking God to turn you into a mobile upper room: somebody full of the Spirit.

Let’s pray together. Lord, every person that’s watching right now, I pray for a Holy Spirit encounter with God’s presence where they begin to feel the fire of God burning inside of them. Lord, if we will rebuild the altar, we will stop the famine. Then comes the rain. Then you’ll anoint those that are watching, the Elisha, the farmers. Because with rain, you’ve got to have farmers to handle the crops. Lord, raise up those that are watching right now with a holy boldness and a fire to confront the lies of culture with the truth of God’s Word. In Jesus Name, Amen.
