When you are tempted to focus on the two jokers who don’t like you - stop.  Instead, focus on all the people who actually do love you.

Hello, my friends I am Pastor Troy Brewer of Open Door Church in Burleson, Texas and I say welcome to God Today.  Have you ever heard that silly kids’ song, “Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I think I’ll go eat worms”? Well, while it is a silly thing that kids would say, many of us as adults, we subscribe to that same spirit today.  I want to help you. I want to help you to overcome that.

You know the thought pattern that says, “Nobody loves me.  Nobody cares.” It is actually a very dangerous way of thinking.  Do you know why? Because it is a lie from hell. Satan’s favorite way of paralyzing us and keeping us from our destiny is to say, “We are not loved and we are alone.”  You are loved. You are loved like crazy by the extravagant God of the universe. He planned you and He knew you before He knit you together in your mama’s womb. The Bible says that He counts the number of the hairs on your head and He keeps track of your tears.  Those are tears that break His heart to watch you cry.

When you are tempted to focus on the two jokers who don’t like you – stop.  Instead, focus on all the people who actually do love you. If you are convinced nobody on the Earth loves you at all – know for certain there is somebody in Heaven who celebrates you and loves you.  Psalm 17 says, “Keep me as the apple of your eye and hide me in the shadow of your wings.” Being the apple of His eye means you are His focus. You never have to ask for His attention because you have it – all of it.  You also have all of His love because it is limitless. You never have to share God with anybody else because He is all yours, all the time. Moses knew this very well. Moses didn’t have any friends because he was a leader.  He took a lot of blame, and he took a lot of criticism from people. The Word says his own wife didn’t even like him. But, the Bible also clearly says that God loved him this way: in Exodus 33 it says, “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face as one who speaks to a friend.”  The faithful friend of God towards Moses.

God called Moses friend.  That is so amazing to me. Know this: you can’t make people love you so stop chasing after those who don’t.  As wonderful and perfect as Father God Himself is – He can’t make anybody love Him either. Focus upon those who do love you, especially King Jesus.  I want to pray for you – here we go. Father God, I thank you, Lord, that we will not focus upon things what we’ve lost or the way things ought to be.  King Jesus, sir, we will focus upon how good you are. King Jesus, thank you, sir, for loving us. Thank you Lord Almighty, sir, for seeing us, and for loving us, and for calling us the apple of your eye, and for making us your focus.  Thank you, Lord. I love you so much and I declare a spirit – I declare an anointing upon every single viewer to know we are indeed loved by you. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah! My friends, that is all the time I have for today. I am Troy Brewer.  I call you the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, and highly favored of the Lord. Bye, bye.
