Hey, everyone, this is Evangelist Chris Mikkelson. I want to welcome you to GOD TV. This morning I’m just going to be talking to you from the book of Matthew chapter 14 where Peter sees Jesus. Peter and the other disciples see Jesus walking on the water. Actually, they thought it was a ghost at first walking on the water. And Jesus called out to Peter; actually all the disciples, and He says, “Be of good cheer. It is I. Do not be afraid.” Then something really interesting happens here where we see Peter called out to Jesus. He said, “Jesus if that’s you, call to me to come out to you on the water.” And Jesus said one word, “Come.” And Peter stepped out of the boat, put his feet on the water, and began walking on the water.

My friends, Peter wasn’t walking on the water. I believe Peter was walking on the Words of Jesus. He was walking on the word, “Come.” My friend, I don’t know where you’re at in life or what you’re going through. But when you walk on the word of God. When you stand on God’s word, you will find that you are working on firm ground; on a firm foundation.

When Peter stepped out of that boat, he didn’t walk on the water but he was stepping out on the Word of God. Maybe God’s called you to do some big things in life, or in ministry, or in whatever it is. My friends, when you walk on the Word of God and when you stand on God’s Word, you will find that you have found firm foundation and you will see that God will begin to lead you and guide you because the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord. I just want to pray for you, for whatever you’re going through, and whatever you’re stepping out to; that God would be there and lead you and guide you.

Father, I just thank you for every person listening right now. Whatever they’re going through, whatever it is that you’ve called them to, God, I pray that you would continue to lead them and guide them. That they would have faith in the word of God and in what you’ve called them to do, to go out and do what you’ve called them to do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
