Hello, my friends.  I am Pastor Troy Brewer from Open Door Church in Burleson, Texas.  Welcome to God Today. Do you have a constant conflict going on between your ears?  Maybe it is time you bury your mental hatchet. Maybe it is time for you to make friends with your memories, especially those about the bad things people have said to you or about you.

The Bible says in Proverbs 15:1, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”  You see, you attract or repel wrath by the words that you speak. We have a huge responsibility for the things that we speak.  It also affects us mentally. When you generally have something ugly to say, you are generally going to attract the dislike or wrath of others.  As an evangelist friend of mine used to say, he called people like that “death breathers”. Your mouth not under the control of the Spirit makes your mind a mental magnet for strife, and trouble, and death.

Listen, we need to be life breathers.  Here are some verses to breathe energy and life into everything around you today – including your thinking habits.  Proverbs 15:4 says, “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.”

Proverbs 15:23 says, “A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in the due season, how sweet it is.”

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.  Those who love it will eat its fruit.”

“There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword,” the Bible says, “but the tongue of the wise promotes health.”  That’s Proverbs 12:18.

Right words will not only energize and motivate you for your next upgrade, but they will also get you out of mental trouble.  They will also bring mental health, and mental healing, and mental stability. Are you suffering from depression, or self-doubt, or unforgiving mindsets?  Or living in the past defeats? Line up your mouth with the Word of God.

The bottom line is that you will prosper by letting God get a hold of what you speak about yourself and about others.  Let’s you and I come before the Lord about that right now. Here we go. Father, God sir, we come to you, Lord, and King Jesus, I praise you and thank you, God, that my mouth belongs to you.  I will steward it in a way, God, that looks like you today. Father, I want to lift up all of us, Lord God, all of us all over the world on God TV who are watching together right now. Father, God sir, we declare our mouths belong to you today.  In Jesus’ holy name we pray. Amen.

Wow.  Okay, my friends, that is all the time I have for today.  Keep on speaking the Word of God. Amen. I am Troy Brewer.  I call you the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, and highly favored of the Lord. Bye, bye.
