Hello, God Today, this is evangelist Chris Mikkelson, and we are celebrating New Year’s here at God Today. I love this time of the season because when I think about New Year’s I think about crossing over into a new year, a new chapter in life, a new chapter in ministry, or whatever it is that you’re going through, a new chapter, maybe, in your family.
When I think about the New Year and crossing over I think about Joshua and Caleb and how they crossed over into the Promised Land. You know, when Moses sent out the 12 spies, Joshua and Caleb were among those 12 spies. Ten came back and gave a bad report, but Joshua and Caleb came back and gave a good report believing that God had given them that land. Even though there were giants in the land who wanted to come and be a threat and be a problem against them. But Joshua and Caleb had faith to believe that they would overcome any obstacle as they crossed over into their destiny.
As you cross over into next year, my prayer for you is that you would have eyes of faith like Joshua and Caleb that no matter what challenges may be in front of you, no matter what obstacles might be in your way, I pray that you would have faith in the God of the impossible to overcome every obstacle and everything that stands in your way this next year. And I believe this next year is going to be one of the greatest years you will ever have in Jesus’ name because with faith anything is possible.
So, why don’t we pray? Father, we thank you for every single person listening. Lord, I pray that you would use them to do great and mighty things in this next season of life, in this next year. God give them eyes of faith and a heart full of faith to overcome every obstacle they might face. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
