Hi, I’m Doug Osness and this is God Today.  Today’s passage is from Romans chapter 8, the first part of verse 15.  Looking at a life lived adventurously, on purpose. This passage is incredible.  It says, “The resurrection life you received from God [Message translation] is not a timid grave-tending life.  It is adventurously expectant.” Are you living a life on purpose, adventurously expectant today? You looking forward to what’s next?  You need to claim the adventure. This new track you’re going on.


Here’s what the definition of adventure is:  “A bold, usually risky undertaking hazardous action of uncertain outcomes.”  You might be like me. You want to know the future, you want to have control over it.  That’s not this adventurous expectant life with God. This is a journey, an adventure. You’re going to go and cross rivers and lakes and climb mountains if we claim that adventure God has for us.  So, what’s holding you back from claiming that adventure? I want to encourage you today.
