Hi, this is Robert Henderson and this is God Today. You know, we’ve been talking about the dimensions of prayer. Last time we talked about the court of Heaven. I need you to understand that finances are actually means of releasing testimony into the courts of Heaven. See this is what you do in the courts. The Bible says in Revelation 12:11, “That we overcome by the word of our testimony.” One of the ways we release testimony is through our finances.
In Hebrews 7:8, the Bible says the regards to the tithe that, “Here mortal men receive tithes, but there [in Heaven, where Melchizedek is, where our high priest is] he receives them of who it is witnessed [that means to give judicial testimony] that he lives.” See, our tithe actually has a witness attached to it. It actually releases a testimony that speaks in the courts of Heaven.
Money is a testimony. That’s on the positive side. Let me show you something that is happening here in James 5:4. When people were holding back the wages that belonged to someone. It says, “Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which were kept back by fraud [watch this] cry out.” The wages are crying out. And it says, “The cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord.” Notice that the cry of the wages mixed with the cry of the reapers was presenting a case before the courts of Heaven. See, you need to understand that our money has a testimony. We can literally take our money and sow it, literally give it, and whatever is attached to our heart when we give it – that is the testimony that begins to speak in the courts of Heaven.
I want to encourage you – when you give your finances sow it in faith. Sow it in faith and give it with a good heart, with a worshipful heart, with a hilarious heart, with a heart filled with faith. That money actually becomes a testimony in the courts of Heaven that is speaking on your behalf and allowing God to release breakthrough into your life. Lord bless you.
