When Israel suffers, the whole world suffers. But we have a chance, in this hour, to not be silent.

Hello, I am Rosemary Schindler Garlow, founder of Schindler’s Ark and co-founder of Well versed.  Welcome to God Today.  I am here to share with you about the righteous among the nations.  A movie was made famous called Schindler’s List, and it depicted a certain individual, Oskar Schindler, who made the difference of over 1200 Jewish people.  People he employed and people that he was willing to lay his life down for, in order to save.  And invest all that he had in their rescue during the Holocaust and to prevent them from being murdered in Auschwitz.

One specific point where the movie ends, and that we as believers need to understand, is that not only did Oskar save his Jewish workers, which he called his children, but after that they saved him. There is an ongoing message here of how he was the one that was now needed to be rescued when the war ended and the Jews provided, cared for him, and brought him to Israel as a hero, where he is now buried on Mount Zion.

This is a story of us as believers, how we can make a difference in this hour.  When we see the boycott, divestment, and sanction movement, BDS, being promoted, even in the United Nations and on campuses, this was something that happened at the very beginning of the Holocaust when Jewish businesses were boycotted.  When they were ostracized, they were expelled from schools, and they were being labeled in a great move of anti-semitism that occurred in the most Christian nation, then in Europe – in Germany.  But people were silent.  And that silence led to the murder of over 6 million Jewish people.  And resulted in World War II, where 60 million died.

See, when Israel suffers, the whole world suffers.  But we have a chance, in this hour, to not be silent.  Because the Holocaust started with words.  It began with people speaking lies and no one speaking out against that.  So, I want to encourage you to bless Israel.  I want to encourage you to speak out on Israel’s behalf.  I want to encourage you to come to Israel, to pray for Jerusalem, and to pray in Jerusalem.  Make a difference today.  And Father, I just thank you for those out there that can use each and every one of us to make a difference in the lives of your people and in our nations by not being silent, first of all, when we see persecution against the Jewish people and against Israel today, which is modern-day anti-zionism.  We want to love what you love, and support what you support, and be part of the great miracle of resurrection and redemption of the Jewish nation and people.  Thank you for watching and God bless you.  Shalom.
