If you are not totally in love with Jesus...if He doesn’t completely captivate your heart and everything that you are...He still has more for you.

Hi, my name is Victoria Osborne and I am an evangelistic student at Christ For All Nations Bootcamp.  Today, I wanted to talk to you about your salvation and my salvation story.

When I was 10 years old, I accepted Christ into my heart, in a church, my family had gone to my entire life. At that point in my life, I knew who Jesus was, I knew all of the Bible stories about Him, and I would even say I loved Jesus. But, I was not in love with Jesus. And I didn’t understand the difference in those two things, until later on when I was in college.

In college, there was a period of time I did not live my life for the Lord. I decided to partake in worldly things and I was at a broken state in my life where the Lord spoke to me and told me He was calling me to full-time missions.  And He called me out of everything I was in at that moment and He asked me to surrender all to Him.

In an instant, I surrendered my life to Him and told Him if He could really use my life after everything I had been through, for His glory, and for my good…then He could have it all.  In an instant, He freed me from pain, rejection, and unforgiveness that I had held on to for a really long time. In that, I learned what it was like to be completely in love with Jesus. I realized for the first time in my life that growing up in the church has given me a love for Jesus, a love for the Lord.  I knew who He was, I believed He was the Son of God.  I truly believed in Him, but I wasn’t living for Him because I wasn’t utterly in love with Him.

Today, I want to impart this to you through watching this. That if you are not totally in love with Jesus if He doesn’t completely captivate your heart and everything that you are, that He still has more for you.  And even if you are at that place and you are like, “I am in love with Jesus,” you know what? He still has more for you and that is the beautiful thing about our Father.  He continually gives more and more to us.

Let me pray with you today. Father, I thank you for your children, Lord. I thank you, Lord, that we can be utterly in love with you and that you have more of yourself to give to us, Father. Help us to love you the way that you deserve to be loved. Lord, show us what that looks like, encounter your children in new and profound ways, Lord. Take their hearts and make them more like yours, Father. Bring us into the fullness of who you are, Lord, and teach us more about you. Let the scriptures come alive in new ways, Father, and as they do, Father, let us fall even deeper in love with you to where it is completely part of us.  Our love for you, the foundation of what everything else flows out of, Father. I pray, right now, my brothers and sisters receive strength, Lord. Strength and a desire to spend time with you. Just at your feet, in your presence, Lord. With no other agenda, but just to love you, Father. We love you. And we thank you for what you are doing in our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen. I am Victoria Osborne and thank you for watching God Today.
