Hello, my name is Diane McDaniel, Pastor with Bethel Dallas Church. Welcome to God Today. I am so excited to share with you a brief conversation on a scripture that is very powerful to me. It is Proverbs 27:17. It is, “As iron sharpens iron, so does one man to another.” I want to rephrase that to whatever it may be because it says, “Iron sharpens iron so is one woman to another, so is one wife to another, so is one mother to another.” I have to tell you this scripture speaks so loudly to me because I know it has made a huge difference in my life as I got around other healthy Christians, other people that wanted to grow, and become more for God. They wanted to understand His word, understand how to live for Him, understand how to love for Him. My life became healthier.
The importance is that you have to get around healthy, healthy people. Make sure you are paying attention to, “How can I get connected to a small group? How can I get connected to a ladies Bible study? How can I even start one? That is what I did. It is a “whatever it takes mentality” to start growing with other women, or growing with other couples. Whatever you are doing individually to make your best life now. Understand God’s word and become the best you can be.
Let me pray for you right now. In believing that you are going to find the relationships you need to make sure you can become as sharp as you desire. Thank you, Father, for the opportunity to share with everyone listening. I am believing there is an incredible opportunity to come together, even the desire to start something new, to connect with new relationships, divine appointments. There would be an opportunity for everyone listening in right now to grow in you in a new and stronger way. Your will be done in each and every one of them. Thank you and amen.
