Hi, I’m pastor Craig Walker, the lead pastor of Upward Church, and Christian author. I would like to pray for you and talk to you today. And encourage you. I pray you are blessed by the Lord and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is evident in your life. I want us to go to the Word of God today, together, can we do that? Every day we need a word from Heaven. I am going to read a scripture passage for you today from Jude 1:4. It says this, “Some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

This is a powerful scripture because it actually says a Gospel message that says we can live an immoral life because of God’s grace is denial as Jesus as Lord and master. It is not a new deception, it was prevalent in Paul’s day. He said some preach that we say sin that grace may abound. God forbid! So, for you and I, as believers following Jesus, knowing in the Last Days the deception will be rampant, it is incredibly important to understand what the grace of God does. The grace of God is actually a teacher.

The scripture says in Titus 2:11-12, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust. We should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.” Grace is at the blackboard like a teacher. If you ask the Lord in your heart, grace will come and teach you how to live a life that pleases the Lord, right here in this life and in the life to come. I pray you will listen to the teacher, I pray you will be a good student. May all of us sit at the feet of the Holy Spirit, hear His voice, and obey.

Can I pray for you? Let’s pray together. Father, I pray for all who are hearing my voice. I pray for us, myself included, that we will be good students and follow the Holy Spirit. Listen to His guidance and direction, live a life worthy of Jesus – in this life and in the life to come.
