You can sit in the boat and the waters can rise, but it doesn’t even bother you when you are focused on God.

Hi, I am Chantell Cooley, co-founder of Columbia Southern University and Chantell Cooley Ministries.  Welcome to God Today. I want to talk to you today about transition. I think we are probably all in transition at some point in our life.  We are always in the process of life, growing and moving forward, becoming more Christ-like. I have been in the corporate world for many, many years, moving myself forward, always transitioning into new areas.  This last transition really was something I had not experienced. I actually retired and moved forward, and I started my ministry. I did something that I always dreamed of, but God told me many years ago I would do this, but actually transitioning into it has created a little bit of chaos in my life.

I am telling you, God is always in it.  It creates extra energy, I noticed. You have to just pull yourself down and go and get into the Word.  One of the things I have done as I have walked through this transition is I have literally fallen in love with God.  If I don’t seek Him first and His righteousness, then all those other things may not be added unto me. What I did is I simply just fell in love with God.  I told my daughter the other day, I was like, “I got this.” The key here is to go deeper with Him. As you go deeper with Him, that’s getting up early, or staying up late, putting a couple of hours extra into praying, and your prayer language, moving forward, fasting.  Whatever it is, getting into the Word more. That’s the key to your success. That is something I have zoned in on that has literally changed my life, especially as I have transitioned. As my energy and anxiety rose up, I channeled it through God. He calmed me down and now I realize that you can sit in the boat and the waters can rise, but it doesn’t even bother you when you are focused on God.  All things work out according to His plan. It always works out perfectly.

I love that Scripture in Psalm 138.  It says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”  I want to pray for you today. You may be in a transition, maybe you’re just praying for a new launch in your ministry, or even in your business.  In the name of Jesus, Father, I thank you for a new anointing on each person that is going through this. I pray peace in the name of Jesus. I thank you, Father, that you draw them in closer, that they realize it is all about going deeper with you that helps everything else.  I speak success over your life, that you are going to walk and talk in a new anointing. You are going to feel the peace of God and you are going to know God is right behind you. Most of all, I pray you have the mind of Christ. Satan has no power over you because you overcome evil with good.  You are blessed going in, and you are blessed going out. You are always the head and never the tail. In the name of Jesus, amen. I am Chantell Cooley and this is God Today.
