Hi, my name is Rob Radosti. I am the founder of Church 14. And you can find me on Facebook @RobRadosti. My last name is R-a-d-o-s-t-i. Welcome to God Today. I want to talk to you for a few minutes today about how God can work something together for your good when it certainly doesn’t look that way.
I have a really cool story I want to share with you from when I was in the nation of Iraq. I have had an amazing opportunity to minister to close to 60 nations now around the globe, share how God delivered me from Satan-worship and witchcraft, and just see people come to Jesus by the droves. You know how it says in Romans 8:28, “That God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.” So what does it look like? Especially, if you feel the burning in your heart, you know God is calling you to do something, you know He is telling you to go somewhere or to start that business, or whatever it might be. But you aren’t quite sure how to start. And each time you try, it seems like you just hit a dead end.
Well, not too long ago, the Lord told me, “Rob, you need to go to Iraq.” and I told my wife, and we cried. So, here I go. I go off to Iraq and I am ready to preach the gospel, I am ready to do whatever it is that God calls me to do. Everything I tried, I just couldn’t make the connection. I was like, “God, what do I do? I don’t want to just waste time here and resources here. I want to really be impactful. You know?” So, every relationship I thought was going to be that connection, where I was going to be received and really minister the Gospel, it didn’t happen that way.
One night, I and one other missionary I was traveling with, ended up after midnight, alone at this family’s house in the mountains of Iraq. And we find out that they are strictly Muslim. I said, “It’s now or never.” I begin sharing Jesus. They were concerned about different political tensions, war, and I said, “Jesus has a strategy in the heavenlies for this. Would you mind if I pray with you? And we ask Him to reveal those strategies?” They let me pray with them. It was so cool. Check this out – we really wanted to get into the refugee camps and preach in the refugee camps and do whatever we could to just love on those people. Especially on the border of Syria. We had no way to do it. Like I said, every other relationship that I thought it was going to happen with, it just didn’t happen.
It turns out, at the end of the night, this Muslim family was so blessed by our time together, that we found out they help lead up a work in the refugee camp on the Syrian border. They open all the doors to us. So, the very next day, we go and load up toys, supplies, and we just go and we start unloading to the refugee camps, the school where the children have parents killed by ISIS. And some of these kids are missing limbs and legs. It was just so precious to be able to just be there and be loving on these people. I never imagined that God would open that door through being stuck at this family’s house in the middle of the mountains at midnight, who weren’t even Christians. Here the doors just swing wide.
I want to just really challenge you to believe God when He says, “All things work together for the good of those that love Him.” You might look at your situation and say, “I know God is calling me to do this, I just don’t see how. Everywhere I thought it was an open door, it is slammed in my face.” Listen, I am telling you, God will create a way where there is no way. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has always made a way. Whether it is through the wilderness, through the Red Sea, or whatever. He always paves a way where there is no way. Be encouraged. You might not be sitting in Iraq now, but whatever it is, and wherever you are, He will work things together for your good. And He will do it in a way that you could never imagine so that you can’t take credit for it. I am glad I cannot take credit for what only God can do.
Let me pray for you guys really quickly. I pray there is an impartation on this. That goes with you, that fills you as you go into your day, and that those doors open up, Father, in Jesus’ name. Create a way where there is no way that you could even take credit for it even if we wanted to. Lord, that burning desire that you put in their hearts right now, I see desires burning in your heart, and you know that God had put them there, and you just don’t know how to get from A to B. And you have created strategies, but they seem to just fall off, they just don’t work, they fall apart. But I see the Lord saying, “Now receive Heaven’s blueprint.”
Lord, I ask for a supernatural download of Heaven’s blueprints and strategies for my friends that are watching right now. For their ministries, for their businesses, for their families, for whatever it is. Father, don’t let them be discouraged. I bind up discouragement right now, and sadness, and disillusionment. And I speak faith, and I speak courage as a trail is blazed before you where there has never been before. Father in the name of Jesus, we give you all the praise and the honor and the glory in Jesus’ name. Amen. Bless you, guys, today. Thanks for tuning into God Today.
