I am Jared Laskey with Fireborn Ministries and this is God Today. Blessings to you. It is my hope and prayer that you are encouraged and your faith is lifted up through this as we get a glimpse into scripture. I would also like to pray a blessing over you that your faith will soar and that the presence of God fills you through this.

In Ephesians 3, the apostle Paul was exhorting the Christians in that city of the grace, power, love, and purpose of the Church. He was enthralled with the majesty of King Jesus and His dominion. Paul was sharing how Jesus is superior above all things, including spiritual and political forces. Ephesus was a very spiritual city of darkness, but Paul and the Christians were bringing the light and love of Jesus.

In verses 14-19, of Ephesians 3, Paul said, “For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father from whom every family in Heaven and on Earth is named. That according to the riches of His glory, He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and height, and depth. And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

I love that passage of scripture, don’t you? If we are rooted and grounded in God’s love, where it is so ingrained in our inner being, our spirit, and our soul, then we will have strength and understanding more and more of how much Jesus loves us. It surpasses knowledge. It is through ongoing relationships and time spent with God that we continue having the revelation of Christ’s love for us. And love breaks through despair. Love breaks through depression. Love breaks through spiritual forces of evil. The light of Christ breaks through the darkness.

When we have a personal and ongoing revelation of Christ’s love for us, we are continually filled by His Spirit. As the ongoing revelation of His love surpasses knowledge, our words cannot do justice to knowing and understanding how we can be filled and continually filled with the fullness of God by His precious and wonderful Holy Spirit.

Now, let’s humble ourselves right now and pray. Precious, wonderful Jesus, right now may we all have a revelation of your love. We thank you for loving us, for dying for us. We thank you for rising from the dead. We thank you that you’re coming back. May we each have a revelation of the length, and height, and depth of your love for us. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your Spirit. Use us for Your glory. And may your presence touch each and every one of us right now. In Jesus’ name. Amen. I am Jared Laskey and thank you for watching this encouraging word from God Today.
