I am Jared Laskey of Fire Born Ministries and this is God Today. Blessings to you. It is my hope and prayer that you are encouraged and your faith is lifted up through this as we get a glimpse into scripture. I would also like to pray a blessing over you, that your faith will soar and that the presence of God fills you through this.

In Ephesians 1, the apostle Paul wrote that he was praying that the Christians in Ephesus would have the eyes of their hearts enlightened. He said in verse 18, “that you would know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe according to the working of His great might. “

Let’s pause right there for now. Paul’s prayer was that the eyes of the Ephesians’ hearts would see and know the hope that God has called them into. And that they would have a revelation of the riches and glorious inheritances and the immeasurable greatness of God’s power toward all who believe. And it is His doing. Wow. Each word of those verses can be meditated upon for a lifetime.

In the following Bible verses, Paul says that the working of God’s great might, that He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority, and power, and dominion. And above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. He put all things under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the Church, which is His body. The fullness of Him who fills all and all.

God showed His great power in raising Jesus from the dead for you and me. And Jesus sat down our loving heavenly Father’s right hand, the seat of power, glory, majesty, honor, and dominion. And Jesus rules and reigns above all earthly names, all political names, all spiritual forces, and powers that exist. Jesus rules over all things including our present circumstances. All things are under His feet. And He is the head and leader of the Church which is His body. Reflecting His image to the world, needing the message of hope in the Gospel.

As the Church, we walk in the fullness of Jesus who fills us as we go out into the world to fill it with His glory and knowledge. Now let’s pray. Thank you, Jesus, for being the leader and the head of the Church. Thank you for ruling above all powers, all principalities. Thank you that you have dominion. Thank you that your Holy Spirit can fill us right now, in Jesus’s name. May our faith be lifted up and may we sense your presence right now as we meditate on these verses for the rest of today. Thank you for loving us. And thank you for your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen. I am Jared Laskey of Fire Born Ministries and thank you for watching this encouraging word from God Today.
