I am Larry Sparks, publisher of Destiny Image.  Welcome to God Today. You have the ability, at any time, in any place, to keep your atmosphere under the reign of God.  The r-e-i-g-n. What does that look like? How does it operate? We are familiar with the scripture on Psalm 22 where it talks about God being enthroned in the praises of His people.  He inhabits the praises of His people. I love the language there because it actually depicts God setting up a throne as you praise Him.

What does that look like?  When you marry that with a scripture like Psalm 134:1 which we are familiar with.  Where David says this, “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”  Now, when David wrote a lot of these Psalms, he wasn’t going through very cheerful experiences. He was running away from Saul, the king who was trying to kill him.  He was in very forsaken places. Time after time, David is pouring out a complaint to the Lord. He is dealing with something, he is dealing with life, he is dealing with challenges.  I am sure those are the kinds of things you relate to as well. We all deal with challenges. Imagine a life. Imagine a situation where you and I, at any moment, through praise, where we are actually lifting our eyes, lifting our voice, in any moment saying, “God, in the midst of everything right now, in the midst of everything coming against me.  The fear, the anxiety, the uncertainty, in the midst of the family trouble, in the midst of what is going on with my children, or my health.” In the midst of it all, you actually have the ability to create a throne for God in your praise.

Just imagine what happens when you create a throne for God in your praise.  Everything that is out of alignment, everything that is out of agreement, everything that would dare challenge the rule and the reign of God, actually must submit.  Isn’t that amazing? David says, “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Maybe we could say it this away, “His praise. The praise of God that creates a ruling and reigning throne for God to exercise His Kingdom purposes.  That is established in my praise when I open up my mouth.

Could I encourage you right now?  Could I pray for you? It is no longer just listening to a nice praise and worship song on your radio in your car.  It is actually you creating a throne for God to exercise His reign and rule. Father, for my friend watching right now, I thank you, Lord.  You know whatever situation they are going through right now. You know whatever is on their mind. Whatever is bother them or tormenting them.  Father, I pray this. In the midst of it, in the middle of it, God. Not, “I am going to wait till it is over to praise God.” In the middle of what I am going through, I will make the choice through my own free will to create God a throne in this circumstance.  That the circumstance that is coming against me would actually have to bow before the throne of God – created and established in my praise. Guess what? You have the ability at any time to do that.
