Hi, my name is Chris Overstreet with Bethel Church and Compassion to Action, and you’re watching God Today. I want to encourage you really quickly that God is pouring out His Spirit right now all across the earth. He’s raising up people that have fire in their eyes – purity in the Bride. He’s raising up individuals that will not fear. Listen, my friends, this is not the time to be afraid, and there’s a great promise in Acts 4. It’s a promise for prayer for boldness. And when we pray, God will respond in prayer.
It says this in Acts 4:29, “Now Lord, look on their threats and grant to Your servants that with all boldness, they may speak Your Word while You stretch out Your hand to heal. And that signs and wonders will be done through the name of Your holy servant, Jesus.” I believe even as you’re watching right now, God is imparting courage for you to do what He’s called you to do. God is releasing boldness in the body of Christ to be who they’re called to be. I want to encourage you wherever you’re at right now, you need to realize you’re a testimony. You see, you don’t step out to get a testimony. You step out because you are a testimony. You’ve been blood-bought by Jesus Christ.
Maybe you’re watching right now and you’re not born again. You don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe that God is going to give you courage right now and boldness right now to come to the throne of grace, to be able to say, “Jesus, I need You.” If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, God wants to fill you with boldness to speak His Word with clarity, but also with power.
I want to pray for you right now for God to use you in incredible ways. Father, I pray right now that You release boldness in the Spirit for them to preach the Gospel with mighty miracles, signs, and wonders. God, we pray a blessing over them. God, use them to impact this generation for You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Listen to me right now – wherever you’re at, whether you’re in a neighborhood, whether you’re in a school, wherever you’re at right now, God wants to use you in power.
