Our inheritance lies in all that makes up God's Kingdom. If God were to have written a will, it would say this. “I hereby grant all that is Mine to you.”

Hello everyone, my name is Matthew Bell. I’m a Christian entrepreneur, author, and speaker, and I’m also part of the GOD TV digital media team. I want to welcome you to God Today. I want to share with you a message of encouragement that I pray will bless your life and your career in a really powerful way. I want to start by sharing a Bible verse with you from Isaiah 60 from the NIV translation. “Then you will look and be radiant. Your heart will throb and swell with joy. The wealth on the seas will be brought to you. To you, the riches of the nations will come.”

I just love that verse. So the promise in God’s Word is very clear. Our inheritance is not what we see in the natural nor what we may be experiencing currently. Our inheritance lies in all that makes up God’s Kingdom. Let me elaborate. If God were to have written a will, it would say this. “I hereby grant all that is Mine to you.” This applies both spiritually and physically. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Our inheritance is for an abundant life and all the goodness of God’s Kingdom. That’s what we’re promised. Through our acceptance of Christ, we are adopted into God’s family as His children. That makes us sons and daughters of the King. That’s not just any king. We are children of the almighty God, maker of Heaven and earth, the king of all Kings.

As God’s children, we are the rightful heirs to all that is in His Kingdom. So spiritually among other things, the Kingdom of God means peace and joy in the Holy Spirit as stated in Romans 14:17. If we are ever experiencing anything outside of peace and joy, that we are not walking in our inheritance. Fear, worry, anxiety, depression, and other such things are not what God has given us as His children.

It happens far too often that good, hardworking Christian men and women shy away from opportunities or they’re simply too fearful and intimidated to seize an opportunity that God has laid out before them. I see it time and time again. In business and in life, it’s important to walk in the revelation that we are heirs to God’s Kingdom. Our inheritance is not only spiritual, but the Lord promises tangible blessings and provisions too. God’s Word states in Proverbs 13:22 that the wealth of sinners is stored up for the godly.

There are opportunities for wealth creation for God’s people that have been set aside and stored up for believers in Him. All we have to do is choose to enter into these opportunities and seize that which God has already promised us in His Word. Now imagine walking into a boardroom, a sales meeting, or an investor presentation, armed with the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit and expectation that God desires to bless you with the wealth of His Kingdom. That is the revelation that God wants us to have today. He wants you to flourish and walk in the fullness of the inheritance that He’s already laid out before you and promised you in His Word.

I want to pray for you today that you would grab hold of this, and that it blesses you in your life, career, business, family, wherever you go from here. Heavenly Father, show them what it means to be an heir to Your Kingdom. Show them how to walk in peace and joy of Your Holy Spirit. Fill them with a revelation of Your inheritance and show them how to grab hold of it here on earth today. Amen. Have a blessed and wonderful day and tune into God Today tomorrow.
