Welcome to God today with myself Nathan and Lydia Marrow. We’re going to just talk real quick about childlike faith. And I know in another God Today, we mentioned Hebrews 11:6,  “Without faith it is impossible to please God,” but I think it’s a lot more than that. It’s coming as a child. And, what do I mean by that? Well, we have a little child called Malakai and whatever we tell him, he’s going to believe. So, you know, quite often when somebody’s sick, we say, “Malakai, we’re going to pray for this person right now. We’re going to lay hands on them.” And without question, he believes it. So it’s not just about childlike faith in the sense of believing, it’s having absolutely no doubt. Malakai has no doubt whatsoever what we’re telling him is not true. And I think we have to come to God in exactly the same way that we believe exactly what’s in the Bible. If God’s going to heal him, we’ve got to believe it with all our heart. We lay hands on that person. And we have no doubt in our mind that God’s going to do exactly what He says He’s going to do. If He said He’s going to heal, He’s going to heal. If He says He’s going to deliver, He’s going to deliver.

I mean, we have to, there comes a point where walking with Jesus means we simply take this book at face value. I mean, I can remember it was just last year that my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. And I looked at the boys, you know, Jeremiah, he’s too little to understand, but I grabbed his hand, too, because he needs to experience, and Malaki and Jeremiah and I went across the room, laid hands on Nana, and we rebuked cancer in the Name of Jesus. And this is always, you know, that it’s taking a root in their spirit, even though they’re little because whatever happens, if somebody is not feeling well, the first thing they say is we need to pray. There has to be the simplicity of approaching God and just simply believing. You know, the simplest way to increase your faith, is get this book rooted so down in you to where you can use the faith you’ve already been given.

When they asked for more faith, when the disciples asked Jesus, increase our faith, He said, you need to use what you already have. You can only do that if you’re familiar with the Author of the Word and let Him flow through your life, just take what He says at face value and put it to work. For us, that meant we had to learn how to pray for the sick. We didn’t really know what we were doing. And the first few times we prayed, absolutely nothing happened. And then one day, God opened a little old man’s ears in the State of Indiana. And I said, “Sir, can you hear it?” He goes, “Yeah,” as if I was being ridiculous for even asking whether or not it was going to happen. Now it’s commonplace for us to see God do miracles, but we had to take the book that we already knew, take Jesus at face value and put it into practice. Childlike faith believes what his Father says. Amen.

So we’re just going to pray real quick. We pray for everybody that is watching this God Today, that you would root deep within us, that there would be no doubt in our minds that when we pray, You will do exactly what it says in the Word that You will do. And, and even if our eyes, our physical eyes don’t see any manifestation of that, let that doubt not waiver, let us have childlike faith that believes in You 100% immaterial what we see, we know with assurity through the eyes of faith that You’re going to do exactly what You said You’re going to do. So Father, root it deep within each and every one of us in Your name, Amen.
