We Have A Good Father

I said, “Lord, I want your will to be done in my life,” and I just aligned myself with the Father.

Hello, my name is Nathan McClure and I want to welcome you to God Today. Today, I’m going to be talking to you about how God is good. So I want to read Romans 8:28 with you: “And we know that all things God works for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to his purpose.”

2020, as most of you guys have experienced was a very, very rough year. The pandemic and all the things going on. I just want to share a quick testimony about how I realized how the revelation of God is good came to me during 2020. So, the start of the year, I came into a position of actually owing a lot of money. I got hit with taxes pretty bad, and by March I owed up to about $17,000 not knowing where this money came from. My car broke down a week where I was supposed to move to Austin, Texas, and then a day after that, I lost my job. So I’m in this place of not knowing where my finances are coming from. I don’t know what to do. And I’m at my parents’ house about to move down, Austin, Texas. And I just break down and my father sits down next to me and says, “Son, you cannot worry. You need to trust that the Father is going to be there for you.” And that was the moment I said, “Lord, I want your will to be done in my life,” and I just aligned myself with the Father. Let me tell you, by the time I moved down to Austin in June, end of June, I actually was able to save up more money than I owed, and I paid off all my debts. I am debt free.

And so Lord, we just thank you that you are such a good Father. Lord, I just ask that you just come and you pour an abundance out on your children, and you just show them that you are a good Father and you are there for them and that you just love them deeply. And I just thank you so much for your goodness and your kindness over our lives. And I just pray favor, favor, favor over everyone’s life right now, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
