Hi everybody. I’m Ron Cantor, the president of Shelanu TV in Israel. And this is God Today. I’m gonna tell you a story. A few months ago, I was in a Jiffy Lube. That’s a place in America where you get your oil changed, your tires can be checked. And I was in there, it was taking a really long time. I couldn’t figure out why is this taking so long? And suddenly this woman walked in and she was limping. Now I want to talk to you about healing. And I want to talk about praying for people that you don’t know. And it’s something that a lot of us are a little bit nervous to do, but I want to encourage you that the worst thing that can happen, the very worst thing that can happen, if you pray for somebody that you don’t know, is that they don’t get healed. And what are they going to do? Are they going to look at you and yell at you and say, I knew your God wasn’t real. I knew this was all. No, they’re going to look at you and say, “Thank you. You cared for me. You prayed for me.” Didn’t work. Didn’t happen, but at least you, but that’s the worst thing that’s going to happen. The best thing is they’re going to get healed and they’re going to give glory to God.
And so I was in Jiffy Lube. This woman walked in, she is limping horribly. And I felt like, maybe I should pray for her, but I was studying. And I thought, well, no, I don’t. I’m not going to, I’m going to keep studying. And as I said that, I felt gently the Holy Spirit fall upon me. And I thought, okay, I need to pray for her. I asked her if I can pray for her. She said, “Sure, why not?” I pray for her. God heals her. She is overcome, she’s in tears. She can’t believe it. It turns out she’s a believer, and she had told her mom that something special was going to happen that day. And she got healed. She was getting ready to drive about 300 miles, and she didn’t know how she was going to do it with her leg in such pain. She walked out of there completely healed.
Now, imagine if she was an unbeliever, because I have seen it with unbelievers. I was in Israel one day and there was a woman. I was in the drug store buying, can’t remember what I was buying, but there was a woman in front of me who was clearly visibly in pain in her back. So I just knew I had to pray for her. Well, as she walked out of the store, there was somebody in front of me and I thought, well, how am I going to make this work? And suddenly the woman in front of me left. So I paid quickly and that I ran out of the store and the woman was just standing there. She didn’t know why she was there. I did. And I basically just said, “Ma’am I know you don’t know me, and I can see that you are in intense pain in your back. Can I pray for you? Because sometimes when I pray for people, God heals them.” She let me pray for her , all in Hebrew, by the way. And so I prayed for her in Hebrew, in the name of Yeshua. And she looked at me stunned, because she was an unbeliever and all the pain was gone. I ran to my car, and said, “Don’t go anywhere.” I came back two minutes later with all kinds of books in Hebrew for her. And you know what? She was still there, because God healed her.
So you never know what’s going to happen. Maybe they’re not going to heal. Not everybody I pray for gets healed when I pray for them. But you know what? A lot of them do, and it can be a powerful witness. So I’m going to pray for you right now that God would give you boldness. Father, in the Name of Yeshua, I just bless my friends, and I ask that you would give them a spirit of boldness, that they’d be willing to take a chance. It’s a low level of risk, and pray for an unbeliever in need, who’s in pain. You never know what God is going to do. So I bless you. And I want to encourage you, use the anointing that is already in you. Don’t say, oh, I need more anointing. No, it’s already in you. You just need to use it.
