Hello, my name is Lindsi Gross with Imagine Doula Services. And I want to welcome you to God Today. Open your Bible to Acts chapter four, and I’m going to talk to you today about just having boldness and spending time with Jesus.
Acts chapter four, verse 13 says, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.” Then key here is that Peter and John had been with Jesus. I want to be a person that people look at and they say, wow, she’s been with Jesus. She’s been in the presence of God. Because that is where we get our boldness from. And no matter how educated you are, you don’t have to have a degree to share the Gospel. You don’t have to be the preacher to share the Gospel, or the pastor to share the Gospel. You just need to be you, having been with Jesus.
So take the time today to just be with Him. And, you can be with Him in any place. You know, the disciples, they followed Jesus wherever He went and they did what He told them to do. So, yes, it’s wonderful. Get in your closet and pray, get in a quiet place and pray, but also just do life with Jesus. Wash the dishes with Jesus, drive your car with Jesus, go to the grocery store with Jesus, teach your children with Jesus; do things with Him. He’s with you all the time. He sent the Holy Spirit to be with you and to abide with you. And so, as you abide with Him, you’re going to be so filled up with joy and you’re going to be so filled up with peace and people are going to be attracted to that peace and that joy that you carry. So, be with Jesus. You do not have to know all the Greek and the Hebrew and all of the answers. It’s wonderful if you do, but just being who you are and being where you are in your life, you are enough in Him.
I want to pray for you today, and I really hope that this encourages you today to know that you are enough, because you have been with Jesus. So Jesus, I thank You so much that we can just be with You. God, I pray for boldness for everyone who is watching today. God, I just pray that You would ignite a new fire within them today and that they would be people who are recognized as having been with You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
