I want to encourage you today to get your hopes up. Christ in you, the hope of glory. If Christ is in you, there’s hope of glory in you. That comes from Colossians 1:27. So how do we get our hopes up every day? You know, we may not have something very hopeful right in front of us, but what has God done for you? What has God already done?

I know that you have a testimony. I have lots of testimonies and I actually steward them by writing them down in my journal. And then once in a while, God will lead me back into those journals and I will see all of the answers to the prayers that I had been praying.

I just want encourage you, don’t let your hope get deferred. Don’t let your hope get deferred by getting distracted by all of the things that are going on in the world. Sometimes our pain is self-inflicted, because we are reading bad news constantly. But get in the Word read about what God has done throughout the generations. Also go back and look at your life and see where God has come through over and over and over again. And if you need to steal someone else’s testimony, you know, go to a friend and say, “What has God done for you?” Get encouraged. Stir up that hope that is within you.

So God, I just thank you that you are Christ in us, the hope of glory. God, I thank you that we lack nothing, because of you. And so, Lord, I just thank you for the testimonies that we already have and the testimonies that are to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
