Did you know you were designed to hear the voice of the Lord? When we are Christians, it’s built in us to be able to recognize and hear the voice of God in our lives. I want to read something to you. This is John 10:27. It says, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
There’s a few things in there that stand out to me. Number one, “My sheep know my voice.” That means you know the voice of God in your life. And it is important to know this so that as we go about our lives, to be able to have confidence in knowing that sons and daughters of God have the ability to recognize when God is speaking in our own lives and also for people around us.
Another thing about this passage that I really love is it says, “I will give them eternal life and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” You are right here in the hand of God and no one will ever snatch you from that.
So I just want to pray for you right now and just declare what we’ve talked through today. And so, God, I just thank you that we hear your voice. We know how to listen to you. We know how to follow you, and God, I just thank you for every person watching right now, that they are in the hand of God and no one and nothing can ever snatch them away from you. Amen.
