Hi, I’m Kristene DiMarco with Bethel Music and thank you for watching God Today. I don’t think there is a human being on Earth that hasn’t experienced transition. What we need to do in that transition – I like to lean into the Lord. I think that is the most wise thing I can do when I don’t have all the pieces yet. Transition is a time of a lot of questions. Usually, when I have a lot of questions, I lean into who I know has the answers. That is Jesus.
It’s not a time to be worried, it is a time to remember why we shouldn’t be worried, because He has come through often times in the past. I like to take time and just reflect on things He has done when I have found myself in this position before. Oftentimes, transition can take awhile. Even if you’re buying a house, if you’re waiting on a child, whatever it may be. The Lord is for you and He is with you. He is with you in your waiting. That is something to really remember. Take heart, because He doesn’t leave you in a waiting room like a doctor. He is with you in the waiting room.
Let’s pray. God, I ask for the courage to just hold on to hope in times of transition, in times of a lot of moving pieces even. I just pray for hope to be easy, I just pray that hope would come easy, because you are the God who put pieces in place. You are the God who moves us forward. You are the author and perfecter of our faith. We thank you so much for who you are today, tomorrow, and yesterday. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
