Today I want to speak to you about being led by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit and becoming internally aware of what you’re internally sensing every day. This can look like a peace or lack of peace. It can look like an inner conviction of, you know, something I said, did, or thought that wasn’t what God’s best for me is. Or you can sense a peace of like an affirmation of God, like, “Hey, you’re on the right track.”
Everybody in life has experienced that gut feeling, for better or for worse, meaning God gave you a gut feeling. You had a gut feeling. Maybe you didn’t know it was God. You had a gut feeling about something you shouldn’t do. How many of us have a laundry list of things that we felt in our gut we shouldn’t do? And then it got us in a wreck, right? Everybody’s got that T-shirt, I’ve got a whole closet full, but I burned them all. So don’t worry about it. And now I’m following the Holy Ghost.
And then there’s also that inner conviction about, okay, I’m making this decision and I feel peace about this decision. So if everybody would become internally more aware of what they’re sensing and what they’re feeling within themselves, because the Holy Spirit lives resonant in you, you’re the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God wants to guide you through that inner witness, that peace, or lack of peace. So many people discount that, but it’s actually the voice of God so many times when it lines up with God’s word and Spirit and love.
So I just want to encourage you to become more internally aware of what the Holy Spirit is saying and celebrate and acknowledge the fact that, you know what? It may be a simple peace or lack of peace, but that’s actually God’s voice. That’s one of the ways that Jesus was able to say what the Father said and do what He saw the Father doing, and that’s how He was moved along by the unction of the Holy Spirit.
So I just want to encourage you with a prayer. Jesus, I thank you, God, for a heightened increase of awareness of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus, that you are pouring out your awareness over your people, God. And as they watch this video, God, I thank you, there’s a heightening, there’s an increase. There’s a boiling up, a fervency to be internally aware of what you’re saying and doing. I just want to encourage you that Jesus loves you. He cares. God bless you. Have a great day.
