Hello GOD TV, family, friends, and supporters. It is good to be with you again. My name is Reggie Dabbs. Don’t you give up. What a great phrase. Don’t you give up. No matter what’s happening in your life, don’t you give up. Some of you just walked into the house and just turned on the TV for noise and the first thing you heard is this big, old brother saying, “Don’t you give up.” I don’t know where you’re at, but I’m speaking as if I am in the room with you right now. Somebody’s lost their job – don’t you give up. Somebody just wants to go back to that addiction one more time – don’t you give up.
I know you don’t know me, but I grew up in foster care, but I never gave up, and it’s because of Jesus. You see, here at GOD TV we just want the world to know that there is a way in every situation, there is hope, and anything that you’re going through, there is a God who loves you just the way you are. He’s not like somebody in the sky ready to hit you with a hammer every time you do wrong. He wants good for you, but you gotta let Him. You have to let Him love you today.
I know what it’s like to be lonely, I know what it’s like to want to not forgive people. I know what it’s like to want to quit. My desire today is that one person watching GOD TV, whether it’s on purpose or by mistake knows – Don’t you give up, He sees your tears, He catches them in a bottle. He loves you just the way you are. Can I pray with you?
Jesus, I know that you have people at this moment who are trying to figure out why they are even watching this. They can’t even hit another button, up or down, on the channel because you are speaking to them. Don’t give up. God, I speak hope into every situation. To a mom who has lost her child – don’t give up. To a dad who thinks he is losing his family – don’t give up. To a financial situation that seems impossible – don’t give up. Jesus knows where you are and saying this prayer is going to help you, it’s going to change everything so that you can know that God is good all the time. And guess what? He loves you just the way you are.
So right now, while you do your day, don’t give up. Amen? Amen. God bless you.
